Know all men by these presents that we Sherwood  Raby and William Clark
Are held and firmly bound to William Carroll Governor of the State of Tennessee,
and his successors in Office, in the sum of twelve hundred and fifty dollars, to be
void on condition there be no lawful objection why Sherwood Raby and Lucinda
Hord of Knox County may not be joined together as Husband and Wife in the
Holy State of Matrimony. Witness our hands and Seals the 24th day of July 1833.
