My Stearns, Pierce,& Loomis ancestors emmigrated from Allegan County to Chippewa County, Michigan in the early 1900's. Their many ancestors include John Alden of the Mayflower, presidents John Adams & John Quincy Adams, & the wealthy Cary & Forbes ancestors who at one time lived in castles.
