This page is dedicated to a most wonderful man. Without the help Jan has given me with my Swedish ancestors, my Zimmerman book would be empty. He has found my ancestors as far back as the late 1500's, in Sweden, and tracked 200 years of the Zimmerman's in the pottery industry.
I am extremely thankful for the friendship we share over the Internet. I only hope that in the very near future, I may have the opportunity to meet this "stranger" who appears in the written word on my computer.

Update, August 2001: I have just returned from Sweden where I enjoyed the time of my life. Jan Rehnberg is no longer "the friend on the Internet," he is indeed the wonderful person I envisioned. My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic day with Jan in Göteborg, Sweden. He took us to the Church where Ambrosius Zimmerman was buried in 1657. We later enjoyed a wonderful dinner with Jan and Inga-Britt.
