You Bet Cemetery

The "Historic You Bet Cemetery" sign is attached to the fence near the gate. Also, there is a sign stating "everything inside has been recorded."


A rather sparse looking cemetery, many of the markers have either been vandalized, lost to the ages or just never placed for whatever reason. When the Cemetery District visits a cemetery, after the winter rains and snow, they are likely to notice indentations in the earth. This is a sign of someone having been buried in that location. They then place a metal cross at the location to acknowledge the passing of someone, most likely, from the years of the gold rush.
