Cemeteries
This page gives you a little look at a couple of historic cemeteries in Nevada County, CA. I have taken a sincere interest in photographing gravestones of these cemeteries for the purpose of helping others who may have ancestors buried here. Odd fellows Cemetery, Grass Valley, California, USA
The lone baby grave.
At the Old Grass Valley Cemetery, sits a small grave plot, a wooden border, and a few simple items for a child. This catches my eye each time I enter the cemetery as it seems to be all by it's self. The doll is an interesting part of this grave, each time I visit, the doll is in a different position. It is obvious that people pick up the doll and put it back, respecting the fact it does belong to that plot.
