John Ballinger and Jane McHaffie in Montgomery Co VA in 1803; therefore
I have been doing lots of research on this. Have you seen where John Fielder
got 60,000 acres at the Falls fo th Ohio for himself and 50 others. This
was for colonial War. Good site, keep up your good work.

I am looking for Lottie Fielder Dodson. She married Wm Oscar Dodson
around 1900. Wm Oscar Dodson was b feb 1883, so I think she was b of the
same era. They had kids, Oralee,Marcus,Ollis Wayman, Emri,Marteen(sp).
Ollis Wayman b 1906 in Blue Ridge TX, Colli Co (I think). "Oscar"
was 3/4 cherokee and his 2nd wife was full cherokee. So I think that Lottie
Fielder might have been of cherokee blood too. Please email me if/when
you get info on her. They were divorced, and Oscar took the kids when they
were young to OK.

A few months ago, my family tried to put together a family tree with not
much to go on but a few stories from a few generations. In our search for
ancestors, we linked a few rom Tennessee, Red Boiling Springs to be exact.
I looked through your surname list but could not find the specific names
I ws looking for. If you happen to know of a Silas, Rodney, or Ernest Donohoo,
or if you ever come across them in your research, ple se e-mail me. Thanks,
