1. James C.¹ Williamson was born in NC. 1820.

He married Luvina Bass in In?, about 1840. Luvina was born in NC. 1815.

James was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census in T5N, R6E, Hoard P.O., Clay Co.,IL..(928) I do not know if this family is at all related to Henry Williamson Sr's lines. This family lists North Carolina as birthplace for the parents. They lived in Clay Co.,IL. in 1860.

James C. Williamson and Luvina Bass had the following children:

2 i. Moses² Williamson was born in In 1844.

3 ii. Mary E. Williamson was born in In. 1845.

4 iii. Barbara Or Arabia? Williamson was born in In. 1847. She married Charles Smith about 1865. (See Charles Smith for the continuation of this line.)

5 iv. John A. Williamson was born in Xenia, Clay Co., Il. 1855. He married Medea Scantling in Clay Co., Il., November 25, 1884. Medea was born in Clay Co., Il. 1858. She married Mr. Abbott before 1884.

6 v. Benjamin F. Williamson was born in Clay Co., Il. 1858.
