American War. He was a private in the 118th Co. Coast Artillery. David received a pension later. David & brother Nathan were married in a
double ceremony in Marion Co.,IL. in 1903, but Nathan's certificate was returned in Jefferson Co., David's was filed in Marion Co.,IL. David
was a member of American Legion Post 141 for 6 years.

Ida Octavia Sandberg. Oscar died August 24, 1961 in Chicago,Illinois, at 58 years of age. His body was interred
August 26, 1961 in St. Adalbert's Cem., Niles,Illinois.(892) Oscar was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Green River,
Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.(893) (See Asar Olaf Sundberg for the continuation of this line.) Edna had twins, Lee & Leah, before she married
Ascar Sundberg. Lee's wife told Connie Sundberg that Russell Hicks (Saybrook,IL.) was listed as his father. The family does not know if they
were married and divorced or if they ever were married. Oscar Sundberg adopted Lee, but Leah had already married and didn't think it
mattered.
He married Leah Franks before 1970. He married Velma Bloemaker in Salem,IL,
January 26, 1970. Velma was born in Bible Grove,IL. 1913. She was the daughter of William H. Bloemaker and
Johanna Saak. Velma died March 19, 1984 in St.Mary's Hosp.,Centralia,IL.. Her body was interred after March 19,

Williamson, 71, of R.R. 1, Sandoval, died yesterday at 7:55 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was born in Bible Grove, daughter
of William H. and Johanna (Saak) Bloemaker. In 1970 she married Clarence Williamson in Salem and he survives. Also surviving is a brother,
Glen Bloemaker of Centralia. In earlier years, Mrs. Williamson worked for Hollywood Brands and at the Forrest City Dress Factory. She
lived in the Sandoval area since her marriage and in Centralia prior to that. She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Luer Funeral Home with Rev. E. E. Wilber officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest
Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Thursday until time of the services. Clarence was married first to Leah
Franks. I do not know of any children. Clarence was a PFC in the Infantry in WWII, stationed in California. He saw combat in Attu, Marshall
Islands, Siapon, Phillipines; was awarded 6 Bronze Stars, 4 Champion Stars, 2 Liberation Stars. Clarence Williamson was buried at Hillcrest
Memorial Park with full military rites provided by VFW Post 2055 and American Legion Post 446. Obituary, Centralia Sentinel, Tues., Sept. 4,
1990: Clarence Williamson - Junction City - Clarence M. Williamson, 80, of Junction City, died Sunday at his home. He was born in Iuka on
April 21, 1910, son of David Edgar and Lillie Janet (Jones) Williamson. He married Velma H. Bloemaker in Salem on Jan. 26, 1970, and she
died March 19, 1984. Survivors include two brothers, Joseph Williamson of Mt. Vernon and Clayton Williamson of Champaign; and four sisters,
Carmel Pickard of Mt. Vernon, Laura Shaw of Centralia, Mary Payne of Willis, Texas, and Margie Shelton of Champaign. Mr. Williamson worked
for the State of Illinois Highway Department until his retirement in September of 1972. He lived most of his life in the Iuka and Centralia
areas. He was a World War II veteran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pacey & Dunnavan Funeral Home in Centralia with
Rev. Joseph Alfred officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, where military rites will be accorded by VFW Post 2055 and
American Legion Post 446. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the services.
She resided in Willis, TX. 1990. Her father, David Williamson, called her Sadie or Tansaty after his mother, Tansada Haney
Williamson. She was also called Pearl.
Beatrice was born April 11, 1928. Beatrice died January 7, 1988 at 59 years of age. Her body was interred after January
7, 1988 in Pleasant Hill Cem., Jefferson Co.,IL..

Williamson of Champaign; and three sisters, Laura Shaw of Centralia, Margie Shelton of Homer and Carmil Pickard of Mt. Vernon. Mr.
Williamson was a foreman with General Import & Export Co. in Chicago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served six years,
and was a prisoner of war. He was a member of American Legion Post 141 in Mt. Vernon. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Friday at Pleasant
Hill Cemetery north of Mt. Vernon with J. Howard Kraps officiating. Full military rites will be accorded at graveside by American Legion

Connie Sunberg says Joseph was a Corporal, was in the Bataan Death March, P.O.W. of Japanese Imperial Army, received 1 Bronze Star, 20 Ap
Leaf Clusters; was a member of American Legion Post 141 for 6 years. There was no mention in the obituary of any marriages, but Joseph lived
with Beatrice Pearl Haines for many years.
She married William Dunn after 1938. She married Ernest Nalley about 1955. (See
Ernest Nalley for the continuation of this line.) Maxine had at least two children, daughters Karen
Ann and Jacqueline Jeanette (?). She gave Karen Ann to Tessie to adopt, and Jacqueline went to Carmil. Maxine also was called Mickey and
even legally changed her name later on to Gloria Jean.

March 11, 1926. No license has yet been found. It is possible the couple left the state to be married.
