27. Thomas H.⁴ Williamson (Henry³, Henry², Abraham¹) was born in Jefferson Co., Illinois March 25, 1846. Thomas died September 12, 1936 in Belle Rive, Jefferson Co., Il., at 90 years of age.⁽⁸³⁵⁾ LDS lists died in 1927 and is buried in Belle Rieve, Jefferson Co. IL. His body was interred September 14, 1936 in Hickory Hill Cem, Romine Twp., Marion Co, Il.⁽⁸³⁶⁾

He married twice. He married Tansada R. Haney in Jefferson Co., Illinois, August 12, 1865.(837) Tansada was born in Jefferson Co., Illinois September 1848. She was the daughter of William Haney and Delilah Haney. Tansada died before 1920 in Marion Or Jefferson Co., Il.. Her body was interred before 1920 in Hickory Hill Cem., Romine Twp., Marion Co, Il. Effie Williamson Anspach told me (Yvonne Anspach White) that she remembered Tanzaty (as she pronounced it) had long black hair even when she was over 60. Grandma Effie thought that Tansada was half Indian, but I have found no tribal links yet. Grandma Effie said that Tansada would take her hair down and brush it every night and sometimes pressed it. Effie would have been under 12 yrs. old.

He married Sarah Davis in Illinois, before 1920. Sarah was born in Tennessee 1852. She married unknown Davis after 1870. Sarah died May 3, 1935 in Belle Rive, Jefferson Co., Il..(838) Sarah Williamson probate file Jefferson Co.,IL. courthouse Mt.Vernon, Jefferson Co.,IL.,. Thomas H. Williamson was husband and gave administration rights to his son Grover C. Williamson. Survivors included Thomas H. Williamson, husband, and Sarah's children - Thomas, Samuel, & Grover C. Davis, Elizabeth Flood, Allie Williams, Bill Childers, Ettie Henry. I am not sure if Bill Childers was a son, an adopted son, or a grandchild.

Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Romine Twp.,Marion County,IL..⁽⁸³⁹⁾ Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Romine Twp., Marion Co.,IL..⁽⁸⁴⁰⁾ Number 267753, Civil War Pension filed 1883, 1898, 1915, 1921, 1936 updates.

Thomas H. Williamson and Tansada R. Haney had the following children:

+ 84 i. William Henry⁵ Williamson was born October 1871.

85 ii. Nathan Williamson was born in Jefferson Or Clay Co., Il. March 30, 1874. Nathan died January 8, 1906 at 31 years of age. His body was interred January 8, 1906 in Hickory Hill Cem., Romine Twp., Marion Co, Il.. He married Dora Thomas in Groom's residence, Marion Co.,IL., November 10, 1903.(841) Dora was born 1887. Age given on marriage license was 16 in 1903. She was the daughter of R. Thomas and Sarah Aterby or Atteberry.

86 iii. Mary Elizabeth Williamson was born in Jefferson Or Clay Co., Il. 1876. She married Julius E. Buchanan in Marion Co.,IL., December 25, 1897.(842) Julius was born 1855. Age given as 42 on marriage record in 1897.

89 vi. James Williamson was born in Jefferson Co., IL. October 15, 1885. James died May 5, 1911 in Marion Co.,IL., at 25 years of age.⁽⁸⁴⁴⁾ Connie Sundberg has Death Certificate, states he shot himself in the head. Lived in Marion Co.,IL. :Death Certificate Death Reg.#15019; Hickory Hill Cemetary Recorded 18 July 1911 in Marion Co., Illinois. His body was interred May 11, 1911 in Hickory Hill Cem., Marion Co.,IL..⁽⁸⁴⁵⁾ He married Pearl Brown in Marion Co.,IL., August 15, 1908.(846)

Pearl was born 1892.

90 vii. Grover C. Williamson was born in Marion Co.,IL. September 10, 1887. Grover died after 1936 in Illinois.
