His body was interred after April 23, 1955 in Hickory Hill Cem., Romine Twp., Marion Co., Il..⁽⁸⁹⁷⁾

He married twice. He married Mary Elizabeth Michael in Marion Co.,Illinois, February 6, 1903.(898) Lizzie was born in Marion County, Illinois January 12, 1883. She was the daughter of Samuel Michael and Caroline Turner. Lizzie died February 9, 1905 in Marion Co, Illinois, at 22 years of age. Her body was interred February 11, 1905 in Hickory Hill Cemetery, Marion Co., Il.. This is the preparer's great-grandmother. Lizzy died when my grandmother, Effie M. Williamson was a toddler. Lizzy's younger sister, Minnie, married Effie's father, Charley Williamson a few years later. Charley and Minnie Michael Williamson raised Effie and eight of their own children.

He married Minnie Michael in St. Louis, Mo., 1907.(899) Minnie was born in Romine Twp., Marion Co.,IL. October 20, 1893.⁽⁹⁰⁰⁾ She was the daughter of Samuel Michael and Caroline Turner. Minnie died November 6, 1986 in Marion Co.,IL., at 93 years of age.⁽⁹⁰¹⁾ Her body was interred November 8, 1986 in Hickory Hill Cem., Romine Twp., Marion Co., Il..⁽⁹⁰²⁾

186 i. Effie Mae⁶ Williamson was born in Marion County, Romine Township, Iuka, Illinois November 1, 1903. Effie died December 26, 1975 in St.louis, Mo., at 72 years of age. Her body was interred December 30, 1975 in Snow Hill Cemetary, Iuka Township, Marion County, Illinois.⁽⁹⁰³⁾ She married John Oscar Anspach in Iuka Township, Marion County, Illinois, September 18, 1927.(904) John was born in Massilon Township, Wayne County, Illinois March 18, 1904. He was the son of Calvin Anspach and Margaret Ann Foster. John died March 19, 1969 in Iuka, Marion County, Illinois, at 65 years of age. His body was interred after March 19, 1969 in Snow Hill Cemetary, Iuka Township, Marion County, Illinois.⁽⁹⁰⁵⁾ (See John Oscar Anspach for the continuation of this line.)

His body was interred September 30, 1990 in Palestine Cem., Marion Co., Il.. He married Ola Lenora Stonecipher in Illinois?, April 6, 1944. Ola was born in Illinois December 5, 1913. She was the daughter of Empire Stonecipher and Nora B. Lawrence. Ola died June 9, 1987 in St.Mary's Hosp.,Centralia,IL, at 73 years of age. Her body was interred after June 9, 1987 in Palestine Cem., Marion Co., IL. Obituary, Sunday Sentinel, Sept.30, 1990: Lem Williamson - Iuka - Lem Williamson, 80, of rural Iuka, died at 1:53 p.m. Friday at his home. Mr. Williamson was born in Marion County on Jan. 7, 1910, son of Charley and Minnie (Michael) Williamson. He married Lenora Stonecipher on April 6, 1944, and she died June 9, 1981. Survivors include two brothers, Carthel Williamson of Iuka and Jesse Williamson of Kinmundy, two sisters, Sylvia Leathers of Walnut Hill, and Teresa Payne of Rock Falls. Mr. Williamson was a retired employee of Illinois Central Railroad. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix with Rev. Leonard Donoho officiating. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Hershel was born in Marion Co.,IL. October 15, 1923. Arlene Schneider Williamson allowed me to copy all her clippings of marriages & obits., Hershel & Icle's included. He was the son of Joseph Bullard and Essie Pearl Jones.
