2. Asar Olaf¹ Sundberg (Johan Gideon^A)⁽⁶⁹¹⁾ was born in Ofver Lulea, Norrbotten, Sweden February 4, 1903. Oscar died August 24, 1961 in Chicago,Illinois, at 58 years of age. His body was interred August 26, 1961 in St. Adalbert's Cem., Niles,Illinois.⁽⁶⁹²⁾

He married Edna Lavina Mae Williamson in possibly Illinois, March 11, 1926. No license has yet been found. It is possible the couple left the state to be married.

Edna was born in Bluford, Jefferson Co.,IL. September 10, 1908. She was the daughter of David Edgar Williamson and Lillian Jeanette Jones. Edna died June 20, 1951 in Bluford, Jefferson Co., Il, at 42 years of age. Her body was interred after June 20, 1951 in Field Cem., Marion Co.,Illinois. Ron & Connie Sundberg say that Edna was first buried at Field Cemetery, then re-interred at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2500 Old 51 Road, Sandoval, Marion Co.,Illinois.

Oscar was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Green River, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming.(693)

Asar Olaf Sundberg and Edna Lavina Mae Williamson had the following children:

5 iii. Dolores Lillian Sundberg was born in Greenriver, Sweetwater Co.,WY. May 1, 1930. Dolores died May 16, 1999 in South Bend, IN., at 69 years of age. Her body was interred after May 16, 1999 in Jacob's Chapel Cem., Wayne Co.,IL..⁽⁶⁹⁴⁾ Dolores was also called Kitten by family. Obituary- The South Bend Tribune, p.D6, Tuesday, May 18, 1999 - Dolores L. Shehorn (May 1, 1930 - May 16, 1999) South Bend - Dolores L. Shehorn, 69, of Whippoorwill Drive, died Sunday in her home. Survivors include her husband, Donald G.; a daughter, LaDonna Todd of South Bend; two sisters, Connie Tucker of Dallas and Leah Walker of Odin, IL; and two brothers, Ronnie Sundberg of Wasilla, Alaska, and Lee Sundberg of Stephenson, Mich. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where friends may call one hour before services.
