He married an unknown person. I have listed as brothers the three Haney's below, but as yet I have no proof. They were all in the same general area in 1820: Marion/Jefferson/Wayne Counties in Illinois.

Unknown Haney had the following children:

+ 2 i. James² Haney was born 1777.⁽²⁶⁸⁾

+ 3 ii. Francis Haney was born 1788.

4 iii. Alden Haney was born in Va? before 1804. He married Gerretta Harris in Jefferson Co., Il, July 14, 1820.(269) Gerretta was born about 1800.Jefferson Co.,IL. in 1820:Caseys Prarie Twp. Alden Hany - - - 1 - - - - 1 - - - 1 = 1 male 16 & under 26 incl. head of family, 1 female 16 & under 26 incl head of family, 1 persons engaged in agriculture. Faye Moreland says an Alden Haney was listed in Shelby Co., IL. census reports both in 1820 & 1830, but I do not have that info.
