Williamson in Jefferson Co., Illinois, August 12, 1865.(229) Thomas was born in Jefferson Co., Illinois March 25, 1846. He was the son of Henry Williamson and Polly J. Bond. He married Sarah Davis in Illinois, before 1920. Thomas died September 12, 1936 in Belle Rive, Jefferson Co., Il., at 90 years of age.(230) LDS lists died in 1927 and is buried in Belle Rieve, Jefferson Co. IL.

His body was interred September 14, 1936 in Hickory Hill Cem, Romine Twp., Marion Co, Il.(231) Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Romine Twp.,Marion County,IL..(232) Thomas was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Romine Twp., Marion Co.,IL..(233) (See Thomas H. Williamson for the continuation of this line.) Effie Williamson Anspach told me (Yvonne Anspach White) that she remembered Tanzaty (as she pronounced it) had long black hair even when she was over 60. Grandma Effie thought that Tansada was half Indian, but I have found no tribal links yet. Grandma Effie said that Tansada would take her hair down and brush it every night and sometimes pressed it. Effie would have been under 12 yrs. old.
