Holt in Southampton, Va., June 17, 1799. Spratley was born in Va about 1773. He was the son of Charles Jr.
Holt and Mildred Sledge ?. He married Nancy Walters in Montgomery, Va, 1829. Spratley died December 1850 in
Floyd, Va. (See Spratley Holt for the continuation of this line.)
