She married twice. She married John Martin 1903.(97) (See John Martin for the continuation of this line.) She married Asa C. Haney in Centralia,Marion Co.,IL, 1906. Acey was born in Jefferson Co.,IL. March 24, 1864. He was the son of John Westly Haney and Margaret E. Blanton. He married Sophia Susan Windel or Windle about 1887.(98) Acey died May 6, 1941 in Illinois, at 77 years of age. His body was interred after May 6, 1941 in Gilead Cem., Marion Co.,IL., Gilead.⁽⁹⁹⁾ He resided in Burleson Co., Texas 1888.⁽¹⁰⁰⁾ Mrs. Anna Haney, of Centralia, Ill. Dies, April 6,1965 ; Mrs. Anna Haney, 77 of 1300 N. Maple St. died yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital after an illiness of three weeks. She was born at Seymore, Ind. The daughter of Willis and Emma (Cambell) Brooks. She married Ace Haney in 1906 at Centralia and he died in 1941. Mrs. Haney was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are eight daughters, Mrs. Minnie Hamilton of Walnut Hill, Mrs. Cora Rhynes, Mrs. Laura Mayes, Miss Ona Haney and Mrs. Esther Bland, all of Centralia. Mrs. Almedia Cook of Joliet, Mrs. Hazel Shepard of Downey, California and Mrs. Lucille Simons of Valdejoe, California. Two brothers, Harrison and Theodore Brooks, both of Marked Tree, Ark. 29 grand children and 71 great-grand-children. Funeral services will be at 1;30 p.m. Friday in the Queen Boggs Chapel. Rev. Cecil Martin officiating. Burial will be in Gilead Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Thursday. (Obit. from Faye Moreland)
