1. Andrew Thomas¹ Blackburn was born in TN. April 8, 1816. Andrew died October 19, 1889 in Marion Co.,IL., at 73 years of age.

He married Francis F. Eddings October 20, 1829. Francis was born in TN. August 11, 1811. She was the daughter of John James Eddings and Elizabeth Weaver. Francis died March 10, 1887 in Iuka, Marion Co.,IL., at 75 years of age.

Andrew Thomas Blackburn and Francis F. Eddings had the following child:

2 i. Sarah² Blackburn was born in Illinois March 11, 1840. Marion Co.,IL. Sarah died September 13, 1907 in Haines Twp., Marion Co.,IL., at 67 years of age. She married Joseph Jourdan in Illinois, July 20, 1856. Marion Co.,IL.

Joseph was born in Pike Co., Ohio May 1, 1837.(50) He was the son of Aquilla Jourdan and Elizabeth Lockard or Lockhart. He resided in Marion Co.,IL. 1840. Joseph and his family moved to Marion Co.,IL. from Pike Co.,OH. in 1840.

Joseph was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Romine Precinct, Marion Co.,IL..⁽⁵¹⁾ Joseph was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Haines Twp., Marion Co.,IL..⁽⁵²⁾ (See Joseph Jourdan for the continuation of this line.)
