2. Johan Nicolas² Deem (Johannes Adam¹ Diehm) was born in Maryland Or Pa before 1753. Johan died August 30, 1835 in Middletown, Butler Co., Oh. His body was interred September 1, 1835 in Middletown, Butler Co., Oh.

He married Mary Magthalena Dils in Md/pa, before 1778. Mary was born 1754. Mary died March 20, 1845 in Middletown, Butler Co., Oh. Her body was interred after March 20, 1845 in Middletown, Butler Co., Oh.

Johan Nicolas Deem and Mary Magthalena Dils had the following children:

3 i. Adam³ Deem was born January 27, 1779. Adam died September 2, 1829 in Butler Co., Oh, at 50 years of age. His body was interred September 3, 1829 in Butler Co., Oh. He married Jane "Jenny" Campbell in Harrison, Ky, December 23, 1800. Jane was born December 3, 1783. Jane died September 25, 1847 in Butler Co., Oh, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred after September 26, 1847 in Butler Co., Oh.

4 ii. Christina Deem was born in Westmoreland Co., Pa July 22, 1781. Christina died May 25, 1834 in Decatur Co., In., at 52 years of age. Her body was interred 1834 in Decatur Co., In.. She married Thomas Israel in Campbell Co., Ky, October 27, 1798. Thomas was born in Culpepper Co., Va October 25, 1777. He was the son of Joseph Or John Israel. Thomas died August 17, 1838 in Decatur Co., In., at 60 years of age. His body was interred 1838 in Decatur Co., In.. (See Thomas Israel for the continuation of this line.)

5 iii. John H. Deem was born in Ky October 16, 1782. John died February 12, 1862 in Butler Co., Oh, at 79 years of age. He married Elizabeth Darr in Butler Co., Oh, December 8, 1814. Elizabeth was born in Pa 1796. Elizabeth died March 29, 1867 in Butler Co., Oh.

6 iv. Barbara Deem was born 1783. She married William Chambers in Campbell Co., Ky, August 5, 1803.

7 v. Betsey Deem was born November 6, 1783. Betsey died June 4, 1867 in Eaton, Preble Co., Oh, at 83 years of age. She married Daniel Black in Campbell Co., Ky, April 20, 1802. Daniel was born September 2, 1776. Daniel died March 16, 1863 in Preble Co., Oh, at 86 years of age.

8 vi. Mary Deem was born 1787. She married John Chambers in Campbell Co., Ky, September 12, 1807.

9 vii. Thomas Deem was born in Ky May 30, 1796. Thomas died September 24, 1853 in Oh?, at 57 years of age. He married twice. He married Sarah Campbell in Butler Co., Oh, July 25, 1816. Sarah was born 1800. Sarah died 1824 in Oh. He married Sarah Rinor in Preble Co., Oh, December 29, 1825. Sarah was born October 20, 1809. Sarah died March 3, 1895 in Oh, at 85 years of age.

10 viii. Joseph Deem was born in Campbell Co., Ky September 20, 1801. Joseph died February 14, 1873 in Eaton, Preble Co., Oh, at 71 years of age. His body was interred February 15, 1873 in Eaton, Preble Co., Oh. He married Frances "Fanny" Torr in Butler Co., Oh, December 18, 1823.
