1. James Winston¹ Earls was born in Floyd Co., Va February 7, 1907. James died January 21, 1968 in Clara Vista, San Diego Co., Ca, at 60 years of age.

He married Edna Ester Michael in Howell, Mo, October 7, 1930. Edna was born in Adair, Walls Co., Ok February 22, 1912. She was the daughter of Charles Eugene Michael and Louisa Rebecca Sinclair. Edna died October 28, 1976 in Granite City, Madison Co., Il, at 64 years of age.

James Winston Earls and Edna Ester Michael had the following children:

+ 2 i. Donald Eugene² Earls (still alive).

3 ii. James Emmet Earls was born in Mo November 28, 1935. Montier, Shannon Co., MO. James died July 14, 1937 in Springfield, Green Co., Mo, at 1 years of age. His body was interred after July 14, 1937 in Montier Cem., Shannon Co., MO.⁽¹⁸⁸⁾

4 iii. Eva Lorene Earls was born in Mountain View, Howell Co., Mo October 15, 1938. Eva died July 2000 in Oklahoma.⁽¹⁸⁹⁾ She married Roy C. Tipton after 1955. Eva divorced Roy many years ago. (See Roy C. Tipton for the continuation of this line.)

+ 5 iv. Charles Edward Earls (still alive).

+ 6 v. Billy Dean Earls was born July 10, 1947.

7 vi. Connie Jo Earls (still alive).

8 vii. Donna Sue Earls (still alive).

+ 9 viii. Michael Lee Earls (still alive).
