2 i. Roxie Jane² Halfacre was born in Marion Co.,IL. June 17, 1891. Roxie died February 23, 1985 in Salem Hospital, Salem, Il., at 93 years of age. Her body was interred FEB 1985 in Paradise Cem., Salem, Il. She married Alvin Andrew Michael in Massilon Twp., Wayne Co., Illinois, May 13, 1911.(217) Date/place from daughter, Lorene Michael Heflin. But the marriage is recorded in Marion Co.,IL. Vol. F., p.3, line 94. On the marriage record Alvin's last name is spelled Michaels.

Alvin was born in Marion Co., Illinois January 21, 1886. I am not sure why Alvin's birthdate was given as May 1885 on the 1900 Marion Co.,IL. census. He was the son of Samuel Michael and Caroline Turner.

Alvin died January 24, 1972 in Twin Willows Nursing Home, Salem, Illinois, at 86 years of age. His body was interred January 26, 1972 in Paradise Cem., Salem, Il. Alvin was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Romine Twp., Marion Co.,IL..⁽²¹⁸⁾ (See Alvin Andrew Michael for the continuation of this line.)
