1. Leonard Davis¹ Dickens was born May 3, 1856. Leonard died February 4, 1928 at 71 years of age. His body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee.

He married Louisa Vera Short. Louisa was born in Tennessee January 31, 1855. She was the daughter of Isaac Martin Short and Jennette White. Louisa died March 16, 1905 at 50 years of age. Her body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee.

Leonard Davis Dickens and Louisa Vera Short had the following children:

3 ii. Nettie Dickens.

4 iii. Annie Dickens.

5 iv. William Dickens.

6 v. Lucy Dickens.

7 vi. Lennie H. Dickens was born April 28, 1878.
