He married Bessie Eugenia Mcglothlin June 10, 1950. Bessie was born July 27, 1915. She was the
daughter of Cecil Horace Mcglothlin and Henrietta Clark Yates. Bessie died April 22, 1979 at 63 years of age. Her
body was interred in Tobaccoville, Powhatan County, Virginia.
Elmer Hunter Gish Sr. and Bessie Eugenia Mcglothlin had the following children:
