1. John B.¹ Groves was born January 2, 1859. John died January 1, 1934 at 74 years of age. His body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee.

He married Zelda Blanche White about 1887. Zelda was born in Sumner County, Tennessee September 9, 1867. She was the daughter of Robert Mitchell White and Charity Paralee Huffman. Zelda died August 21, 1906 at 38 years of age. Her body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee.

John B. Groves and Zelda Blanche White had the following children:

2 i. Alma G.² Groves was born 1889. Alma died 1966. She married Albia S. Jackson. Albia was born 1883. Albia died 1968. His body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee. (See Albia S. Jackson for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. Callie O. Groves was born October 8, 1895. Callie died January 3, 1974 at 78 years of age. Her body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee. She married Lonnie Link December 27, 1914. Lonnie was born July 22, 1894. His body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee.

4 iii. Nellie Groves was born September 10, 1897. Nellie died August 6, 1898 at less than one year of age. Her body was interred in Sumner County, Tennessee.
