Vincent Cooksey and Sarah Simpkins had the following child:

2 i. Sarah Jane Mary² Cooksey was born in Indiana January 1, 1840. Sarah died January 8, 1896 in Old Bethel Cemetery, Stevenson Township, at 56 years of age. She married William Baker in Owen County, Indiana, September 7, 1856. William was born in Served In Company F 97 Th Indiana Volunteers. Seenote:spouses August 12, 1836. He was the son of John Hannibal Baker and Sarah (Dukin) Or Duncan. He married Emeretta Keele Myers in Marion County, Illinois, February 16, 1897. William died March 13, 1911 in Old Bethel Cemetery Stevenson, Township, at 74 years of age. (See William Baker for the continuation of this line.)
