1. Fred Albert¹ Borsenberger was born February 5, 1890. Fred died September 19, 1959 in Lebanon, Illinois, at 69 years of age.

He married Hattie Hellena White in IL?, 1908. Hattie was born in IL November 6, 1890. She was the daughter of David L. White and Rose Elmira Twintella Wham. Hattie died February 25, 1965 in Paradise Cemetery, Salem, Illinois, at 74 years of age.

Fred Albert Borsenberger and Hattie Hellena White had the following children:

2 i. Berneze Margaret² Borsenberger was born in Iuka, IL. August 1, 1909. Berneze died November 13, 2000 in Twin Willows Nursing Home, Salem, IL., at 91 years of age.⁽¹⁾ Berneze Borsenberger Obit.- Salem Times Commoner Wed., November 15, 2000 p.2a - Berneze M. Borsenberger, 91, of Salem died Monday, Nov. 13, 2000, at Twin Willows Nursing Center in Salem. She was born Aug. 1, 1909, in Iuka, daughter of Fred and Hattie (White) Borsenberger. She is survived by one nephew, Jerry Fear Sr. of Denver, Colorado; one niece, Sondra Fear of Springfield; three great-nephews, Jerry Fear Jr. of Florrissant, MO., Terry Fear of Richardson, TX., and Howard Fear of Denver, CO.; one great-niece, Kathleen Propersi of Bloomington; nine great-great-nephews and nieces; and a special friend, Pauline Holt of Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Fear, on May 6, 1994. Ms. Borsenberger was a retired employee of Salem Elementary School District 111, where she taught first grade and had been a teacher for 42 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem, and held membership in the American Red Cross, of which she was chairwoman of the Service to Military Families for 12 years. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Salem. Interment will follow at Paradise Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rankin Funeral Home in Salem and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church, Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or to the American Red Cross and will be accepted at the funeral home.

3 ii. Kathleen Faye Borsenberger was born in Iuka, Illinois June 16, 1911. Kathleen died May 6, 1994 in Paradise Cemetery, Salem Illinois, at 82 years of age. She married Herbert Emory Fear in Edinburg Illinois, April 25, 1931. Herbert was born in Iuka, Illinois January 19, 1909. Herbert died February 4, 1996 in Paradise Cemetery, Salem, Illinois, at 87 years of age. (See Herbert Emory Fear for the continuation of this line.)
