He married Sarah Anne Chambers in Decatur County, Indiana, April 20, 1837. Nancy was born about
1815. She was the daughter of Nancy Chambers. Nancy died about 1845.

listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census in Willow Hill Twp., Jasper Twp., IL.(827) John was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Jasper

Mary was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census in Willow Hill Twp., Jasper Twp., IL.(829) Mary Jane & John Anspach lived near Oblong, IL. at least part of the
time. In 1861 they deeded Mary Jane's "undivided interest as an heir at law of Nancy Chambers, deceased" to Nicholas Chambers. Mary Jane
is listed in the Mound Cemetery Plat book, as Jane Anspach, but Robert Parkison found no stone for her.

Mary Jane Parkison was born in Indiana after 1838. Mary died after 1900 in IL.. She married John Jr. Anspach in Shelby County, Indiana, April 25, 1858. John was born in Decatur
County, Indiana December 5, 1834. A biographical sketch gives 1832 as date of birth. Date used estimated from death record. He
was the son of John Anspach and Lydia Bailey.
