1. Dr. Herman1 Perkins was born before 1883.

He married twice. He married Amy Treesh in Clayton, St. Louis Co., MO., March 10, 1902.(839) Amy was born in Ava, Jackson Co.,IL. October 21, 1883. She married Lou Umbemhower after 1908. Amy died November 9, 1949 at 66 years of age. Amy was divorced from Dr. Herman Perkins in Defuniak Springs, Florida, October 13, 1908.(840) Chriss Perkins stated in a letter to me -"Frank Mann was married to my half-aunt, Iredelle Perkins. My father was her half-brother. Iredelle's mother was not "Tish" but Amy Treesh. She was born October 21, 1883 in Ava, Jackson County, Illinois. She and my grandfather, Dr. Herman Perkins, were married March 10, 1902 in Clayton, St. Louis County, Missouri, while my grandfather was attending Barnes Medical College (now Washington University). They moved to the panhandle of Florida which became unbearable for Amy, not to mention that my g-father was very set in his ways. They were divorced in Defuniak Springs, Florida on October 13, 1908. Amy took her children back to Illinois where she married a man named Lou Umbemhower. She died on November 9, 1949."

He married Ada Antley (Antoinette?) Thames in Defuniak Springs, Florida, June 16, 1910. Ada was born in Brooklyn, Conecuh Co., Alabama before 1893.

Dr. was divorced from Amy Treesh in Defuniak Springs, Florida, October 13, 1908.(841)

Dr. Herman Perkins and Amy Treesh had the following child:

child 2 i. Iredell2 Perkins was born in St.Louis,MO December 9, 1902. Iredell died January 1, 1973 in IL, at 70 years of age. She married Frank Mann about 1920. Frank was born in Clay Co.,IL August 18, 1899. He was the son of James Henry Mann and Emma Cook. Frank died September 8, 1974 at 75 years of age. (See Frank Mann for the continuation of this line.)
