7. Samuel2 Parkison (John1) was born in PA. about 1810. Samuel died November 10, 1855 in Decatur County, Indiana.

He married Sarah Anne Chambers in Decatur County, Indiana, April 20, 1837. Nancy was born about 1815. She was the daughter of Nancy Chambers. Nancy died about 1845.

Samuel Parkison and Sarah Anne Chambers had the following children:

child + 24 i. John Davis3 Parkison was born 1838.

child 25 ii. Mary Jane Parkison was born in Indiana after 1838. Mary died after 1861 in IL.. Mary Jane & John Anspach lived near Oblong, IL. In 1861 they deeded Mary Jane's "undivided interest as an heir at law of Nancy Chambers, deceased" to Nicholas Chambers. However John & his wife (who is referred to in the past-tense) are mentioned in an 1884 Biographical Sketch as living in Decatur Co.,IN. So I believe John kept his land in Indiana and moved back after Mary died or possibly divorced him. She married John Jr. Anspach in Shelby County, Indiana, April 25, 1858.

John was born in Decatur County, Indiana about 1830. A biographical sketch gives 1832 as date of birth. He was the son of John Anspach and Lydia Bailey.

He married Emeline Parkison in Shelby County, Indiana, August 30, 1855.(564) John died after 1884 in Jasper Co.,IL..(565) (See John Jr. Anspach for the continuation of this line.)
