1. Ernest Melanethon¹ Campbell was born October 5, 1892. Ernest died January 15, 1957 in Olney,IL, at 64 years of age.

He married Helen Glenna Gunter in Terre Haute,IN, July 30, 1913. Helen was born in Shelby Co.,IN December 12, 1893. She was the daughter of Fred J. Gunter and Annetta Mattie Reed. Helen died March 10, 1919 in Cape Giradeau, MO, at 25 years of age.

Ernest Melanethon Campbell and Helen Glenna Gunter had the following children:

2 i. Jean Telford² Campbell was born in Olney,IL February 15, 1918. Jean died July 26, 1980 in Ft.Branch,IN, at 62 years of age. She married Raymond G. Geick in San Francisco,CA, August 26, 1942. Raymond was born August 26, 1912. Raymond died December 26, 1977 in Evansville,IN, at 65 years of age. (See Raymond G. Geick for the continuation of this line.)

3 ii. James H. Campbell was born in Cape Giradeau,MO February 23, 1919. James died September 8, 1946 in Olney,IL, at 27 years of age.
