Everette Lowell Courson – (July 31, 1931 – August 26, 2002) Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home in Salem for Everette Lowell Courson, 71, of Salem, with burial in the Paradise Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Larry Albert will officiate the service. Courson died at 4 a.m. on Monday at the Salem Township Hospital. He was born July 31, 1931, in Marion County, the son of Grover C. And Lulu Harrell Courson. He married Alma Anspach on April 13, 1963, in Salem. He was the former owner of E. L. Courson Welding Service in Salem and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Army.
Survivors include: his wife; three daughters, Linda Thurman and husband Barry of Salem, Connie Hiestand and husband Mark of Kinmundy, and Tammy Meyer and husband Ron of Alma; three grandsons, Chad Henson and Christopher and Zachary Hiestand; and one granddaughter, Leah Rollinson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Everett Courson and Alma Fay Anspach had the following children:
