108. Jacob S.⁵ Anspach (Leonhart⁴, Johan Jacob³, Johan George², Johannes Balthasar¹, Hans Jacob^A, Hans Henrich^B, Jacob^C, Jacob^D, Jacob^E, Ambrosius^F) was born in PA July 6, 1815. Jacob died January 23, 1881 in Silvertown, PA, at 65 years of age.

He married Anna Stelly. Jacob was employed on the pumps of the Union Canal, near present day Water Works. Jacob & Anna resided at Silvertown, PA. According to Michael Spaulding, Jacob S. was often found under the spelling Aunspach.

Jacob S. Anspach and Anna Stelly had the following children:

197 i. Rebecca⁶ Anspach. She married twice. She married unknown Barton. Unknown died before 1865. Joel Kenderdine shows this Barton was killed in the Civil War. She married unknown Goodman.

+ 198 ii. Jonathan Anspach was born November 21, 1835.

+ 199 iii. Isaac Anspach was born October 25, 1839.

+ 200 iv. William Stelly Anspach was born August 3, 1850.

+ 201 v. Elias Anspach was born 1855.
