He married twice. He married Mahala Catherine Albert about 1874. Mahala was born February 23, 1856. Mahala died November 5, 1884 at 28 years of age. He married Julia Ann Poling or Poland about 1886. Julia was born in IN August 26, 1848. Julia died December 24, 1916 in Lancaster, Fairfield Co., OH., at 68 years of age.
