O., on the 14th day of April, in the year of our Lord, 1809. He was 72 years and 6 months old. About 30 years ago he moved to Hardin Co., and settled in Marion Township, 3 miles south of Ada. He was a good citizen, whose disposition to live at peace with everybody, was proverbial among those who knew him. He died in the christian faith, being from early youth up to the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his death a faithful wife, four sons and three daughters, and also four brothers and three sisters. Also from the Ada Record : **** On the 14th Uncle Peter Anspach was called away - disease, infirmities of old age. **** The personal property of Peter Anspach, deceased, will be sold at administrator's sale on Tuesday, Nov 15th, at his late residence four miles southwest of Ada. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Reading Twp., Perry Co., OH. in 1840 & 1850: 1840: 1 male 5-10, 1 female under 5, 1female 5-10, 1 female 20-30, Initial 'D' as the first initial of Peter's first name. 1850 age 41, with Lydia age 37, Levi, 17, Sophia 15, Sarah 13, Louisa 7, John W. 6, Henry 5 and Elizabeth 2. He was listed as a resident, age 71, in the census report in Hardin Co., Marion Twp., OH, 1880. Peter's Hardin county farm was located in on Rt. 309 just east of Maysville, OH which is Allen County, southeast of Lafayette and 3 miles southwest of Ada, Ohio: 73 acres. Description: The north half of the north west quarter of section five, Township four, South range nine East, containing Seventy three and fifteen hundredth acres of land. 2 May 1855 - Peter and Lydia sold their interest in the Swinehart property (Lidia's mother was Mary Sophia Swinehart, d/o Johannes " John" Swinehart. She married #1 John Linn, Lidia's father; #2 Philip Fry.) : Know all men by these present that we Peter Anspach and Lydia Anspach wife of said Peter Anspach in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid by Philip Fry do hereby remise, release and forever quit claim unto the said Philip Fry his heirs and assigns forever all our title interest and estate legal and equitable in the following premises with the appurtenances situate in the township of Hopewell, County of Perry and State of Ohio and bounded and described as follows, the same being known and distinguished by being part of the South East quarter of section number two of Township number Seventeen, in Range number sixteen, bounded as follows beginning at the South East corner of said quarter section, thence running west one hundred and sixty perches to half section corner, thence North eighty three 25/100 perches to a post, thence east eighty perches to a post, thence eight perches South to a post, thence East eighty perches to a post, thence South seventy six perches to the beginning, which lot was granted to John Swinehart by Patent bearing date the third day of March A. D. 1812. In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 2nd day of May A. D. , 1855.

Before me John F. Miller a Justice of the peace in and for said county personally appeared the within named Peter Anspach and Lydia his wife and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the within conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed and the said Lydia being by me at the same time examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of said instrument made know to her by me . She then declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same that she is still satisfied therewith this 2nd day of Mar A. D. 1855. Tina died April 19, 1932 in Ada, Hardin Co.,OH, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred after April 19, 1932 in St. Paul's Cem., Ada, OH., St. Paul's. She married Benjamin F. Guyton in Hardin Co., OH., June 26, 1864.(192) Benjamin was born 1842. Benjamin died November 26, 1906 in Ada, Hardin Co.,OH. (See Benjamin F. Guyton for the continuation of this line.)

He married Catherine "Cassie" Broseus after 1873. Catherine was born 1855. She was the daughter of Peter Broseus and Sarah Frances Mechling. Catherine died 1933.

He resided in Briceton, Paulding Co., OH about 1900. His obit gives his birth in Perry County, Ohio, but the Baptism certificate says he was born in Marian Twp., Hardin County, OH. according to Linda Meyers.
