68. John Jacob⁴ Anspach (Johann-Adam³, John Johannes, Sr.², Johannes Balthasar¹, Hans Jacob^A, Hans Henrich^B, Jacob^C, Jacob^D, Jacob^E, Ambrosius^F) was born in Berks Co.,PA. July 25, 1780. Jacob died March 13, 1846 in Perry County, OH., at 65 years of age.⁽⁸⁹⁾ His body was interred after March 13, 1846 in Thorn Twp., Perry Co., OH, Zion Luthern.

He married twice. He married Mary Elizabeth Spohn in Ohio, April 5, 1807.(90) Mary was born about 1787. She was the daughter of Phillip Spohn and Catherine Unknown Spohn. Mary died October 27, 1813 in OH. He married Sarah Spohn in OH, after 1814. She was the daughter of Phillip Spohn and Catherine Unknown Spohn. He married Rebecca Groff in Berks Co.,PA., December 6, 1860. Rebecca was born 1836. Rebecca died May 1917 in Sterling, Whitesides Co.,IL.. Cyrus W. Anspach was baptized 29 Mar 1838, and confirmed at Reeds Church, 23 Mar. 1856. He lived in Berks Co., PA, where he was a farmer. He joined Co. F, 167th PA Regiment on 12 Nov 1862. Around 1898, they moved to Morrison, IL, where they were farmers. Rebecca and Cyrus are both buried in Sterling, IL. Info. from Michael Spaulding.
