He married Maria Barbara Anspach in Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania, about 1743.(354) Maria was born in Schoharie Vally, West Camp, New York Colony January 28, 1718. Year may be 1717, 1718, or 1719. She was the daughter of Johannes Balthasar Anspach and Anna Maria Reed.

Maria died before 1754 in Berks Co.,PA.. She was christened in West Camp, Ulster, New York, February 1, 1719.⁽³⁵⁵⁾ Year may be 1717, 1718, or 1719. Performed by Rev. Kocherthal.

9 iii. George Peter Batdorf was born in Pennsylvania 23 DEC 1748.⁽³⁵⁸⁾ George died March 28, 1826 in PA., at 77 years of age.⁽³⁵⁹⁾ He married Anna Maria Kurr in Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, Marion Twp., Berks Co., 1771.(360)

10 iv. Martin Batdorf was born in Pennsylvania 2 JAN 1750/51.⁽³⁶¹⁾ Martin died UNKNOWN. He married Anna Maria Margaretta Walborn after 1770. Anna was born about 1750.
