28. Johan Jacob³ Anspach (Johan George², Johannes Balthasar¹, Hans Jacob^A, Hans Henrich^B, Jacob^C, Jacob^D, Jacob^E, Ambrosius^F) was born in Stouchsburg, Tulpehocken Twp., PA. February 8, 1738. Jacob died July 14, 1818 in Rehersburg area,PA., at 80 years of age. His body was interred 1818 in Altalha Luthern Church (Host Cemetery) , Rehersburg, Pennsylvania.

He married Maria Magdelena Unknown in Stouchsburg, Pennsylvania, about 1762. Maria was born UNKNOWN. Maria died 3 Jun 1838. (info. from Michael Spaulding )

Jacob lived near Rehrersburg, PA, where he was a farmer and blacksmith. He inherited one third of his deceased father's share in the estate of Balthasar Anspach by the Quit Claim Deed dated 2 Jul 1766. He served as a Ranger on the Berks Co. frontier as a second class soldier from 1777 to 1780, serving in Captain Lesher's Company, Sixth Battalion with his brother John George. His will was dated 2 February 1816, and left all of his estate to his sons, George and Peter. John Jacob and his wife are both buried in Host Cem., Rehrersburg, PA. (info. from Michael Spaulding )
