23. John Peter² Anspach (Johannes Balthasar¹, Hans Jacob^A, Hans Henrich^B, Jacob^C, Jacob^D, Jacob^E, Ambrosius^F) was born in Schoharie Vally, New York Colony February 11, 1714. It could be 1715. John died May 25, 1797 in Stouchsburg, Berks Vounty, Pennsylvania, at 83 years of age.

He married Anna Magdelena Brockenmeuer Brockenmeyer in Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania, April 4, 1738. Christ Luthern Church.

Anna was born UNKNOWN. Anna died UNKNOWN.

He was christened in West Camp, Ulster, New York, February 25, 1714.(18) It could be 1715. Performed by Rev. Joshua Kocherthal

32 ii. Anna Margaret Anspach was born UNKNOWN. Anna died UNKNOWN. She married Michael Deffenbach UNKNOWN. Michael was born UNKNOWN. Michael died UNKNOWN.

33 iii. Maria Barbara Anspach was born about 1739. Maria died before 1790. She married John Merkey before 1766. John was born UNKNOWN. John died UNKNOWN. (See John Merkey for the continuation of this line.)

34 iv. John Anspach was born 21 NOV 1745. John died 23 SEP 1794 at 48 years of age. Anspachs & Lefflers p. A3:17, states this John is probably the soldier referred to as John Sr. in Captain Lesher's 6th Batallion, PA Militia. They fought under George Washington in the Battle of Long Island. He was not mentioned in his father's will.

35 v. Johannes Anspach was born 13 OCT 1750. Johannes died 23 DEC 1797 at 47 years of age. Johannes Anspach is buried in Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, Berks Co. PA.
