181. Thomas⁶ Anspach (John⁵, John⁴, Johan Jacob³, Johan George², Johannes Balthasar¹, Hans Jacob^A, Hans Henrich^B, Jacob^C, Jacob^D, Jacob^E, Ambrosius^F) was born in Montgomery County, Ohio February 23, 1828. Thomas died August 7, 1904 in Bussey, Iowa, at 76 years of age.

He married Elsie Ridlen in IN, October 1, 1847. Elsie was born in Decatur Co.,Indiana 14 JAN 1830. Elsie died 21 DEC 1905 in Iowa, at 75 years of age.

Thomas served in the military in War with Mexico. He resided in Marion Co.,IA 1849. Received land grant for service in War with Mexico. Thomas left each of his children 160 acres in Iowa and he had 7 children.

Thomas Anspach and Elsie Ridlen had the following children:

301 i. Sarah Jane⁷ Anspach was born in Marion Co., Iowa August 31, 1850. Sarah died March 28, 1928 at 77 years of age.

302 ii. Elizabeth Ann Anspach was born in Marion Co., Iowa May 30, 1852. Elizabeth died March 8, 1931 in Bussey, Iowa, at 78 years of age.

303 iii. Louisa Anspach was born in Marion Co., Iowa October 15, 1854. Louisa died February 14, 1873 in Columbia, Iowa, at 18 years of age.

304 iv. Alice Anspach was born in Marion Co., Iowa April 6, 1857. Alice died April 19, 1947 in Columbia, Iowa, at 90 years of age.

305 v. Barbara Emily Anspach was born in Marion Co., Iowa December 13, 1859. Barbara died July 12, 1941 at 81 years of age.

+ 306 vi. Ebenezer Warren Ridlen Anspach was born February 1, 1865.

307 vii. William Thomas Anspach was born in Marion Co., Iowa February 8, 1872. William died October 22, 1928 at 56 years of age.
