6. Guy William³ Bates (William Calvin², William¹) was born in Riffle, Clay County, Illinois 16 OCT 1897. Guy died 5 DEC 1973 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, at 76 years of age.

He married Evangeline Eugenia Dohl in Roseburg, Douglas County, Origon, 30 NOV 1917. Jean was born in Myrtle Creek, Douglas County, Oregon 26 MAY 1897. She was the daughter of John Edward Dohl and Emma Jane Stevenson. Jean died 17 NOV 1960 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, at 63 years of age.

Guy William Bates and Evangeline Eugenia Dohl had the following child:
