1. Charles Lonson¹ Hine was born in Sedan, IN March 18, 1852. Charles died Jan., 1927 in Edon, Williams Co., OH, at 74 years of age.

He married Melissa Jane Anspach in Williams Co., OH, Oct. 8, 1879. Melissa was born in Williams Co., OH Nov. 25, 1856. Melissa⁽²⁷⁾ was the daughter of George E. Anspach and Matilda Jane Coslet. Melissa died July 29, 1928 in Edon, Williams Co., OH, at 71 years of age. At 23 years of age Melissa became the mother of Sallie Hine in Williams Co., OH, Oct. 19, 1880. At 26 years of age Melissa became the mother of George William Hine in Edon, Williams Co., OH, July 31, 1883.

At 28 years of age Charles became the father of Sallie Hine in Williams Co., OH, Oct. 19, 1880. At 31 years of age Charles became the father of George William Hine in Edon, Williams Co., OH, July 31, 1883.

Charles Lonson Hine and Melissa Jane Anspach had the following children:

2 i. Sallie² Hine was born in Williams Co., OH Oct. 19, 1880. She married Lester Eugene Palmer June 8, 1904. Lester was born March 24, 1878. Lester died Jan. 25, 1946 at 67 years of age.

3 ii. George William Hine was born in Edon, Williams Co., OH July 31, 1883. George died June 5, 1955 in Baltimore, MD, at 71 years of age. He married Alice Philipina Sep. 2, 1910. Alice was born in Chicago, Cook Co. IL Nov. 3, 1884. Alice died Oct. 9, 1949 in Pleasant Lake, IN, at 64 years of age.
