- Email ex Carol Childs - Dec 2002. Email from Carol Childs,
Dec 2002- Anyway, back to business. David Crombie & Agnes Reid are my ggggrandparents,
their daughter, Janet married Alexander Millar at Burntisland on 17 Feb1826,
their daughter Janet Millar married Henry Beattie at Burntisland in 1850 (Janet
& Henry migrated to Sydney abt 1855). Henry & Janet's son, William, was my grandfather,
William married Ella Stanford, their son Malcolm was my father.
I originally couldn't find the birth of Janet Crombie in any of the Mormon records.
However, I found her when I viewed the parish register for Burntisland. She
was born 1st May 1808, the daughter of David Crombie & Agnes Reid. She was apparantly
missed when the Mormons were transcribing their records.
