Note "This is the start of the close connection between the Yuilles and the Strangs and later with the Watkins of Shotton.
The family became Strang-Watkins and Lindsay Yuille Strang-Watkins, a second cousin of mine, and a great friend and contemporary died recently at Esher. The family has, I think, died out. Lindsay's father Watkin Strang-Watkin bought the Yuille portraits in the Darleith sale and let my father have them."8

Note The Argus (Melbourne, Victoria) 24 Mar 1874 reported: "An inquest was also held at the same asylum (Yarra Bend Asylum, Melbourne) on the 20th inst. by Mr. Candler, on the body of an inmate named Richard Yuille, aged 33 years, who was admitted to the asylum on the 20th of June 1865, suffering from melancholia. Recently enlargement of the liver became apparent, and the disease increased till the 18th inst., when the patient died. Mr. F. T. W. Ford, who made a post-mortem examination, expressed the opinion that chronic disease of the liver had been the cause of death, and a verdict was returned to that effect."
