Margaret writes an interesting letter to Art and Lizzie which issimply dated "Wednesday" and is from 116 Doran St, Carrington, SYDNEY.She talks about "Grannie" (Mary Elizabeth) and how she is "failing"lately from a recent photograph of her. She then writes "she waseighty on New Years day". Mary Elizabeth's death certificate indicatesshe was 82 when she died 4-JUL-1939 (although this does conflict withher age from Arthur YOUNG's birth certificate - she's two years olderby this reckoning). This means she would have turned 80 on 1-JAN-1937and the letter was written that year (1937).
She also says "I am 28 in March & Tom is 25 in June & Lucy is 20 inMarch". This means Margaret, Tom and Lucy were born March 1909, June1912 and March 1917 respectively (however the NSW BDM Index listsMargaret's birth year as 1908 - one year earlier).
In her letter of Tuesday, 3-APR-1951 she remarks "Ray and Ronnie havebeen away to Katoomba for their Easter holidays. They are lovelyboys.". Presently, it isn't clear how they fit into the familypicture.
