bullet  General Notes:

From Thomas Andrews Family on Rootsweb:

In Approximately 1905, the Bakers built a home in Cambridge and William
started the pump and windmill business. Later he was joined by his son, Ansel. Driving horses to a "Pump Wagon" he put up and repaired pumps and windmills in all the surrounding territory. For many years his "Pump Shop" was on the corner south of Parkside Manor in Cambridge, Nebraska. (Reference: "1874 - 1974 Cambridge Nebraska Centennial Book")

Fact: Based upon Mary Eliza Box Baker's obituary, she was the second wife of William E. Baker and the mother of the majority of his children.
