Hugh Bardolf, in the 2nd of Edward I [1295], had summons, with other emminent persons, to attend the king, to advise upon the affairs of the realm and was subsequently summoned to parliament as Baron Bardolf, from the 6th of February, 1299 (27th Edward I), to the 2nd of June, 1302. He m. Isabel, dau. and heiress of Robert Aguillon,* by whom he had two sons, Thomas and William. His lordship, who was employed in the French and Scottish wars of this reign, d. in 1303, and was s. by his elder son, Sir Thomas Bardolf, K.B. Hugh married Isabel De Aguillon Heiress Of Addington, daughter of De Aguillon and Unknown, before 1282 in Addington, Surrey, England.1 (Isabel De Aguillon Heiress Of Addington was born on 25 Apr 1258 in Addington, Surrey, England 1 and died before 28 May 1323 in Addington, Surrey, England.) |
