YEHLE / KRAUSE
This web page documents the Yehle and Krause
Frederick W.O. and Anita (Sorensen) Krause lived in Duluth, Minnesota
when married in 1913. They moved to Minneapolis Minnesota soon after their
marriage and before moving to Rio Linda, California in 1923.
Frederick W.O. Krause immigrated from Germany to the U.S. in 1898 and
was naturalized in 1904. Anita Sorensen Krause's father, Martin Sorensen,
immigrated from Denmark to the U.S. in 1870. Mary Johanna Rodine immigrated
between 1871 and 1873 (depending on census data) from Norway.
The Yehle family started in Maryville and Saint Joseph, Missouri in the
1870s with Casimir T. and Marie (Hatch/Theisen) Yehle. They returned in 1921
from La Plata Argentina where Casimir T., his wife and two children, spent five
years while employed with Armour & Company Meat Packers. They were in St.
Paul, Minnesota by 1930 with Casimir C. and Lois Yehle later moving to
Sacramento, California following World War II.
The Aloysis Yehle family of La Crosse Wisconsin is also documented as I believe
that family may be related to the Lambert Yehle family of Maryville Missouri.
