Britton H. Yarber was declared unfit for continued duty in the Army on December 23, 1862 by reason of Phthisis Pulmonalis and Chronic Diarrhea contacted at the battle of Ft. Donnelson.
He was discharged on December 31, 1862, after serving 1 year and eleven days in the Union Army.  Click here for page 3.
