This database is an update adding Dorchester to the collection of marriage
records from the towns of Abington, Acton, Andover, Ashburnham, Ashfield,
Billerica, Brimfield, Brockton, Carver, Chelmsford, Chester, Dartmouth,
Dover, Dracut, Essex, Framingham, Gill, Granville, Holden, Holliston,
Hummards, Lawrence, Lexington, Lynn, Medford, Medway, Middlefield, New
Ashford, New Bedford, New Braintree, Pembroke, Shirley, Shrewsbury,
Sturbridge, Taunton, Templeton, Tisbury, Tyringham, Wayland, Washington,
Westford, Westminster, Westport, West Springfield, Winchendon, Windsor,
Worthington, and Wrentham.
Each record reveals the names of bride and groom, marriage date, and
marriage location. It provides the names of about 190,000 persons.
