Notes:

This is another collection of notes that I took at the Montgomery County Archives in Norristown, Pennsylvania, in 1997 and 1998. These notes have been gathering dust in my archives for some time now and I thought it was time that someone else got some use out of them.

As a matter of interest, the J. or I. W. Wynkoop, asking to open a road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, in late 1831, is John Wanshaer Wynkoop, the future father of Col. Edward Wanshaer Wynkoop. John owned a limekiln in the area and was apparently trying to improve the access to it. Ned was born in 1836.
