Kingston, June 1.
ON Wednesday Evening last, the supervisors finished the canvasing the ballots of the county of Ulster, for members of Assembly for the ensuing session of the legislature, when the following gentlemen were duly elected, viz.

    Ebeneezer Foote,           1300
    Cornelius Bruyn,           1289
    James Oliver,              1269
    Conrad Ed. Elmendorf,      1224
    Johannis Miller,           1154

The ticket, opposed to this, and which failed, stood as follows:

    Lucas Elmendorf, Jun.,     1021
    Cornelius C. Schoonmaker,   934
    John C. De Witt,            988
    Severyn T. Bruyn,           919
    James Hunter,               796

A correspondent observes, that as the supporters of the respected tickets have in general exerted their influence at the late election; the prevailing sense of the citizens of Ulster, both as to the men and measures, may be discovered.

The court of oyer and terminer and gaol delivery for this county finished their business on Tuesday last [May 28th-chw]; during their session, the negro Charles was tried for the murder of Col. Wynkoop--found guilty, and received sentence of death, to be executed the 3^d of July next.
