    FREE FERRY.--Col. Chivington has requested us to state, that the Government Ferry boat will be launched this afternoon, and that no charge will be made for crossing teams or passengers until further notice is given.

    TO THE DESTITUTE.--We are requested by Col. Chivington to state, that the Rev. Father Kehler has been appointed to inquire into cases of destitution. All applications for Commissary Stores must be made to him, at Camp Weld.

    The enterprising resident businessmen of Larimer street have constructed a foot bridge over Cherry Creek near the site of the old bridge, which is free to all. Men have been engaged to excavate the abrupt banks so that teams may be able to ford.

    We were told to-day of a photographic institution on Larimer street, which realized considerable from pictures of the flood, the proprietor of which refused to give anything towards constructing a foot-bridge and road-way, that the Creek might either be forded, or crossed on foot
